@faridah_ke The pressure even growing up to make sure you don't repeat whilst openly mocking those that do, only to realise when you're older that life and success isn't a straight line and often involves failures that you recover and learn valuable lessons from 🤷🏾♀️
The insane stigma & shame attached to repeating a class growing up was truly detrimental. Not everyone will get it right the first time and that’s OKAY. It’s things like this that seep into our subconscious from a young age, falsely teaching us that we can‘t recover from failure
